Seasons Change

Seasons Change

Summer splashes on sandy shores,
gentle breeze through screen doors,
baseball games, skipping stones,
riding bikes, ice cream cones.
Seasons Change.
Autumn whispers, trees sway,
leaves fall and run away,
family meals, grandma’s pie,
little bird passes by.
Seasons change.
Winter has much to say,
lingering on from day-to-day,
hot cocoa, ice skates, glistening trees,
quilts, soup, snow to our knees.
Seasons change.
Spring’s greeting is wonderful to see,
how it smiles through flowers and trees,
front porch swings, butterflies,
Little birds sing nearby.
How wonderful that
seasons change.

Busy Life Pause
When things start to change around you,
Stop.
Take a breath.
If the seasons of your life are changing,
know that God is still with you.
Rest in His assurance.

       Embrace change,
